To enable children with disabilities by advocating for their rights through innovative programs and availing them of the resources and opportunities that promote inclusivity, equality and personal development in a bid to create a brighter future and a global community of support.
To create a future where all children irrespective of their disabilities are given the opportunity to shine, thrive and lead fulfilling lives that contribute to the advancement of their communities.
Obligation: In a bid to make the world a better place for everyone, we are obligated as family to make sure that children with disabilities get a chance to be fulfilled achievers in the big circle of Life.
Community: We believe in the strength of community, working together to create networks of support for children and their families.
Daring: To care is to dare, and to dare is to do. As a family, we care about children with disabilities, and we choose to do something about it.
Family: We see ourselves more as a family than as a foundation, because in a family, love is universal and in creating environments and opportunities for every child, regardless of ability, where they can feel valued.
The Osita Chifumnaya Disabilities Foundation was born from a deeply personal experience. Our founders witnessed a life-altering event when a young child suffered a permanent disability due to mishandling by a caretaker.
This incident transformed pain into purpose, inspiring the creation of OCDF—a foundation dedicated to supporting children with disabilities.
